Hey everybody.

I have a problem with the analog input as I want to convert. for this purpose I use a FC105 scale converter. I come with a 4-20mA signal. Where 4mA is 0 and 20mA is 100 And this should show on a touch screen. But the output of FC105 need? Did not really it works. On my display I have a bar meter. But here I just get a yellow arrow that shows up. Just like on the outside range. I am attaching just my scale block.

It effects the output, I either place an always on or always off flag that I create there.

Bi-polar means +/- signal.

If that input is on and the signal is not bi-polar it will read wrong, if the input changes state the output will.

highlight FC105 and press F1 for info.

But you wrote there 1 Not 100

Try to Write 100.0 to HI_LIM
100.0 = 1.000000e+002
Also check these:

Try to put Always 0 to Bipolar. IF OK
did u download FC105 to plc? IF YES
Do you see values in PIW276? IF YES
Did you use MD40 at somewhere else in your plc program? or MW40 or M40.0? IF NO

THEN You must see some values in MD40 ( changes from 0 to 100 )

Hey

I can see the value in md40 moves between 0-100 depending on the 4-20mA.
But how few I saw this value read on my screen. I want that value displayed in a bar meter. on a mp277 10 "display from Siemens.

unfortunately I did not install wincc flexible.
but you must just creat tag floating point address MD40
and u must click properties of bar and write your tag name to there.

you can read wincc flexible manual.

Hello alarsen

From Simple Objects Menu on the right choose "Bar". In the properties menu below select your process varaible "x" and arrange other properties of the bar. Since your scale is 0-100 you dont neede to change max and min values. Hope this helps.
