RS Trainer running but not visible

I installed RS Trainer for RS Logix 5000 on my computer with the proper licenses and all. The license info looks fine on the factory talk activation tool. HOwever when I run the software from the start menu, it shows as running but all I get is a white/blank screen and I don't see where to navigate to. The program is running in task manager. I see no error messages or nothing apart from this white screen which conveys no information. Any ideas, anybody?
