Hi I'm Bapu,
I am having a w&t make TTY to RS232 (84001) converter. But the cable for connecting it to the PLC port is missing. Can anybody tell me the pinout for the cable so that I can use the coverter for s5 95U, 100U & 115U PLC communication.

Here is the information about the W&T 84001.

Looks like what you say: a current loop to rs-232 converter. Note to others, this is not a 4-20ma signal loop but rather a communications loop. It is standard to run a current mode communications loop for long distances. And old teletypes / TTY equipment uses it to.

Hope someone else can help with the connection to the S5 95U. Here is a thread about it: http://www.plctalk.net/qanda/showthread.php?t=23378
