Wincc flexible tag multiplex - buttons

Hi I have a screen which I am multiplexing tags from a DB which is made up an array of structs (udts) (item1,item2 etc)

I need to have an off/on selection which is multiplexed..but the option of picking the multiplex tag is greyed out. I was going to use the invertag function.

I can work around by using visibility based on the multiplex index and layering my buttons but I was wondering if their is a better way

I think multiplexing will work if you use a switch in stead of a button with inverttag.

I have experienced the same problem with WCCF (pjuke). My solution was to change the mux from an internal to an IO - tag.
