Hi

I want to control omron f7 inverter with s7-300 plc with profibus.

If someone made similar project, can u share? or some documents.
I've profibus module for f7 inverters.

Is the Omron really a Yaskawa?
If so- there is a sample in the "downloads" section of this forum.

If not- post the .gsd file and manual-
This will help us all to help you

Yeah it's yaskawa. I checked example. it says it's for yaskawa magnetek gpd315. i think it'll work for my f7 inverter too.

I'll test it soon.Thank you

there is no hardware in yaskawa magnetek gpd315 example project.

in omron webpage (library files by type/gsd file )

I just found this gsd.

GSD file for the 3G3AX-MX2-PRT ( PROFIBUS DP Slave interface for MX2 Inverter)

I looked through the gsd
This is an EASY one. This gsd uses PPO types and this is typical.
Pick my sample of PPO4 (telegram 352) in the "downloads" of this forum
Its called g120driv.zip


Just modify the names ie..control word..status word names to match the Omron

Then your set

Can anyone help regarding the flexible i/o mapping type?

i just want to access the following parameters so that i can display it through the HMI via s7 300 plc... I am using a Mx2 omron drive link in a profibus network..

current - Amperes
Total running hours
torque
