ultra5000 to pv1000 variables

hi

I'm trying to change a parameter of ultra5000 since a pv1000
so,
do someone knows the way to declare "n7:" file in "C" program of ultraware?
I mean I need to change number of pulses(distance) so I have a pv1000 and it is using simply n7:5 to get the new target in the servo, but what I need to do in ultra5k "c" program?
anybody have an example on this?
