Encoder CJ2M CPU11

Hi

I have a conveyor and at the beginning an encoder 360 pulse/r and sensor.
the parts are measured with the encoder at the beginning.
I start to count when the sensor detect a part.
I count 10000 pulses and the then i activate a sticky valve .
It work with 1 part but how can i do it with more parts?
Example the sensor detect the first part encoder is counting but not reached
10000 pulses and another part is already detected how can i count the pulses from the second part?


Who knows one solution?
