Hi all

I can successfully send data to plc with built-in RS-232.
But Transmit signal is not far enough.

Code:
Baud Rate : 9600 or 38400 (38400 made it better but again bad result)
Data bits : 8
Parity : None
Stop bits : 2

I've changed these values to have some variations. But The result is:

Sending data: 0x003c
Received data: 0x008B or sth like that..

I've just cut an oem rs-232 cable and connected right pins as OMRON wiring should be.
If the plc receives the right value there shouldn't be a wiring problem i guess.

My question is what is the best configuration for omron CP1E built-in rs-232.

Ty.

How "far" are you trying to transmit?

What device are you trying to communicate with?

Typically these kinds of issues are mismatched comm parameters or cabling issues.

Hope this will help.
