After rebooting PC I can easy download any programm to 1747-L532. But it can be done just once. But if I want to do it second time (with small programm changes) during downoading process will it's appear flashing of FLT LED (on downloading step "writing executable file").

If i start to upload programm from SLC. I will get next "Error message":

Fault code = 0001h
Default program loaded due to NVRAM error. A corrupt CRC was detected (loss of battarey power may cause this), or a power cycle in the middle of the user program download, initialize memory, or memory module load.
Cannot go online or upload from DEFAULT processor (no program). You must perform download.

I can start to download programm to SLC 5/03 only after rebooting my PC.

What it can be? Is it battery problem?

1747-CP3 cable or 1747-PIC ?

There is on 1747-L532 processor two connectors - DH485 and RS232.

Is it any advantagies of PIC system comparing with CP3 cable?
In my opinion using just RS232 cable much more easier. Am I right?

So why they still keep on SLC5/03 processors DH485 connector?

This is for your 1st post in the thread.

Some suggestions:

During download, did you wait for it to complete.
After a succesful download, can you go online ?
Try to save (upload) the program while you are online.

Do you have an EPROM plugged in the CPU ?
If so, is it properly seated in the socket ?
Try to exchange the EPROM for another one.
Have you set one or more of the bits S:1/10 , S:1/11 , S:1/12 ?
Maybe one of these bits are set in the program on the EPROM, try to store the program on the EPROM after a succesful download (only S:1/10 should be set, not S:1/11 or /12).

If there is no EPROM, none of the bits S:1/10 /11 or /12 should be set.

What version is your RSLogix500 ?

By the way, if you only have a few changes in the program, it is far far better to do them online (rather than downloading a complete program).

If you have RSLogix version 6.00, make sure you do NOT have any saved reports. Delete them and close and restart RSLogix. This is a bug.

Thanx.
I delete saved programs. After this I can download new programm properly. I tried couple timse it's working. But I'm going to continue investigation of this phenomena.

Answers:
- I'm waiting when downloading process will be completly done.
- I can go on-line after "good" downloading without problem.
- I can upload running programm.

Sorry for question, but i just bought this CPU and don't know how to check EPROM an my SLC processor. If i try to save programm to EPROM module RSLogix told me that "module is not present" in my system.

RSLogix is 4.50.00 version.

It seems that ndzied1 solved your problem, congrats :)
(Even though your version is 4.5, it must be relevant for when you upgrade from any version).

Re EPROM:
I posted my suggestions for checking the EPROM because the error help text mentioned "NVRAM error" and "memory module load". But it appears that the entire error description is misleading.

You dont have an EPROM, but you can get one and install it in the memory module socket. This socket is placed right next to the backup battery holder.
