Omron C200H to C-More

Let me start with I don't have a lot of experience with this so I apologize if this is something dumb.

I need to replace an obsolete HMI on one of our older machines running a Omron C200H. I purchased a 6" C-More touch panel and I am connecting it through the LK201 communications module. I am having trouble getting the panel to connect with the PLC. I am using the automation direct cable and all the comm settings appear to be correct(9600, Even, 7, 2). I can connect to the PLC using CX-Programmer without any trouble but with the panel I get no response from the PLC. There seams to be communications from the panel because the receive light flashes on the LK201 but I get no response.

Any help, advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the same cable to connect the panel and CX-Programmer?

What driver are you using for the panel?

Not familiar with the C-More panels, but this is where I would start.

I am using 2 different cables to communicate. The one I use for CX-Programmer is homemade and the one for the C-More Panel is a purchased cable from automation direct.
The comm protocol for the C200H is host link.
