MELSEC FX 3U Communication problem

Well i am using MX component as the driver between PLC and PC.
The communication is using the com port.I want to read the floating value in register of the PLc using my VB program.
I am able to read only DINT registers properly,
I am not able to interpret the value when i tried to read a floating point register..?
Can anyone help me with this...
