Hi all!

I'm pretty new to PLC prgramming, and an opportunity has arose at my job for me to "teach myself" how to do this.

I've got a chance to build a small pressure testing machine at work, with an HMI, but I've never programmed one before. I have experience navigating programs with RS Logix, but that's about it. What I was wondering was if you fine people could recommend some training/literature where I could pick up some useful knowledge? This is a "build in your spare time" project, so I'm not in a hurry, but it's something I'm excited about.

Thanks very much in advance for your time!

Oh, and by the way...I saw this site had a book for sale, but I wanted some feedback from the community on it before I bought it.

Welcome to the forum.

The books and online training of this site are excellent. They are general though
not about just Allen Bradley products.

See links below for some online sample lessons and some low cost training software.
