Firmware of S7 CPU

Today I had to download a project in a new S7 CPU.
I saw that the firmware of the cpu was not in my hardwarecatalog and I could not update my hardware catalog because I could not get online.
I got an warning when downloading but afterwards there was apparently no problem.
Have some of you experiences where this caused problems ?
