Can anyone reccommend an industrial UPS? We need a double conversion online UPS, to handle 3A 120V for a few minutes. We have a customer who is having power issues which is knocking out their burner control. We've used APC in the past for PLC projects, but their smallest unit that has full time power (no transfer time) is 1500VA, which is a bit overkill for this project.

Thanks,

We've had good luck with Sola UPS units - reliable, DIN rail mounting, and much higher temp tolerance than a typical office unit.

I like SOLA as well for smaller projects. Our BMS (4 of them) are backed up on a large APC unit. APC hasn't been real good for customer support or maintenance, though.

I used 3 solas on my last job. I needed 5va for 8 hrs l.they couldn't guarantee it because I was so far under the current spec. I got 13hr on a bench test.
Like Tom said din rail mounting.

You guy's sure the sola units are online double conversion?

I have never seen one that small that is din rail mount.

Most industrial geared are standby or Line interactive style.
