Not sure if this is the right place for this question but.....Ihave a GE FANUC 18i-TB control on a Hardinge Elite 27MS.My question is in regards to rapid traverse. The turret travels at roughly 200 IPM from home to spindle.I have the parameter number i just don't know what the numbers should be.Right now X,Z & E are set at 24000.What does that mean?I'm just trying to increase the rapid traverse. Thanks in advance for any help.

By default the 24000 would be encoder counts but this is controlled by and generally 'scaled' by the machine builder. The Hardinge manual should give you that information.
You could calculate it by replacing 24000 with 12000 and measure the speed again.
