SLC 5/05 to Micrologix

If I wished to connect a Micrologix to a SLC 5/05 via Ethernet, and hang a Schneider Magelis HMI on the same Ethernet network, what might be the pitfalls in doing this? The SLC 5/05 is existing and the Micrologix will just act as a sort of remote I/O via the MSG commands.

Does it for me Pauly! We regularly connect ML1100/1400's to 5/05's and use the Magelis HMI's on top!

The Vijeo Designer is fairly intuitive and is relatively straight fwd to set up drivers for AB...
