Hi.
I am learning Rs Logix 5000 Programming. I have Compact Logix L30 Controller to practice on. For devicenet, i bought 1734 PDN to work on but i dont know, if it is supported by L30???o_O Can any one help be to solve my confusion. I already installed RSNetworks and already have 1769 SDN installed. Thanks

Answer is Yes.... Any DeviceNet module is supported by your CompactLogix with the SDN installed.

For DeviceNet, you do not add the modules to the I/O Configuration tree. Mapping of the device's I/O data is taken care of by the SDN scanner, and is configured in RSNetworks for DeviceNet
