I'd like to download an update to a program in a KTP1000 basic panel remotly through Siemens Teleservice. The KTP1000 is connected through ethernet to a TS Adapter IE.
I dial and connect to the TS adapter with no problems, and I can also go online and download an updated program to the PLC which is a S7-1200. I'm using S7 basic software.
When I try to download the program to the KTP1000 hmi, I get an error during loading that it cannot perform the transfer and to check, the cable connection, the address parameters, or make sure the HMI is in transfer mode.
What I don't understand is if I'm connected to the modem, and I'm on the same network and the PLC then I should be able to also get into the KTP1000, but this is not the case.
Any advice on what I might be missing?
