1786-RG6F is just the Rockwell Automation part number for high-flex ControlNet cable.

The best place to start looking for ControlNet media is the Allen-Bradley web site:

http://ab.rockwellautomation.com/Connection-Devices/ControlNet-Coax-Connection-Devices#/tab5

There's a ControlNet Media Selection guide:

http://literature.rockwellautomation.com/idc/groups/literature/documents/pa/ag-pa002_-en-p.pdf

If there is a "/A" on the part number it indicates "Series A" but you can omit the Series letter because there are no subsequent Series letters for that part number. I don't know where you found references to "-B, -C, -D" or other letters on Google.

There are a few other vendors for high-flex ControlNet cable; it's not a proprietary Rockwell Automation product. Belden makes good ControlNet cables:

Also bear in mind that the "high-flex" cable has a higher attenuation (=shorter maximum distance), than the standard cable.

If you don't need the high-flex everywhere on the network, use standard whenever possible.

What happend really is, in one of my BOQ it happend to be part number as X series. So i made a search. But in rockwell site it is only written as A/B .

and the below site fired my confusion, though it is not a trusted one ,
