How to Use Fill Memory, FOR/NEXT, and Reset to Fill and Clear Memory Areas (S7-200)

This example describes various possibilities for presetting memory areas with certain values for clearing defined memory areas.

The instructions used in this application tip are:


  • Memory Fill (FILL)
  • FOR and NEXT, with use of pointer
  • Reset (R)
