Panel View Plus 1000 Firmware Upgarde Problem

Hi all,
I am facing problem while proceeding for firmware upgrade.
Details are,

Part Number:-2711P-RP2
Firmware Version:- 5.10.02.09 (CPR 9 SR 2)
Factory Talk ME Version :- 6.0

Following steps I performed.


1. downloaded the firmware update from http://support.rockwellautomation.com/ControlFlash/GetRSViewFirmware.asp?FFID=274
2. Installed the setup file .
3. Started FUW tool to update the firmware but it was not showing the FUP file for new firmware as per attached picture.



Any solution............?

It is not possible to flash a PanelView Plus version 5.1.x firmware to firmware ver 6.
The hardware to hold the version 6.x firmware is too advanced for the 5.x PanelView Plus platform.
If you need to go beyond firmware version 5.x then you need to purchase a new PanelView Plus with firmware version 6.x already on it (basically a new hardware and a new catalog number)
In some cases it may be possible to replace the logic module of an older terminal rather than replace the entire terminal.
