Hello,

I am trying to communicate with a 7000 series Alpha Display using a Contrologix module. I have a Series B Alpha ethernet adapter that will put the display on my local network. How do I setup the Contrologix to see the adapter.

Welcome to the Forum !

In general I don't think the Alpha displays share an Ethernet application protocol in common with ControlLogix.

Alpha displays seem to have three different Ethernet adapters; which one do you have?

I suspect that you will have to go after this with either the 1756-EWEB module that supports raw TCP sockets, or with an EtherNet/IP to ASCII interface like a Digi One IAP, a Real-Time Automation gateway, or a device like the 1734-AENT and 1734-232ASC.

Thanks for the reply Ken. I have a Series B Alpha Ethernet Adapter 2.
