WAGO Comapctlogix and Profibus

I have definitely seen wago profibus hooked up to siemens not compactlogix.
We use the devicenet wago slave and IO for our kuka and ABB robots. Used a wago ethernet-modbus over Tcp/ip to talk to a proface screen don't know but I think there is a ethernetIP module.
Better of using AB same price !
Only a suggestion.(y)

I think the machine is a Siemens retro fit.
If the original machine had Wago "slice I/O" on Profibus, it still might be easier to replace the Profibus bus coupler with an Ethernet/IP one (or anything else CompactLogix will be easy to to handle, like maybe DeviceNet).

If we are talking about Wago IP67 Profibus I/O modules rather than "slice I/O" terminals... well, then you might have a problem.

Edit: you need sst card and sst profibus configuration tool. attached the scanner the plc rack. Hook up card via serial cable
