CLX Redundancy - Add hardware

Hello,
I just want to be sure if it is possible or not to add hardware to a ControlLogix redundancy system without stopping the PLC.

I am replying because I am interested i the final answer.

But - cant you shut down one PLC change it then do the same on the other.
