Reg: PC adapter

Hi,

recently i purchased a new PC adapter with USB connection to my laptop.
when i set the PG/PC interface, i get a error as attached to this forum.

can anyone tell me how to get rid of this.
so far i have used only ethernet cable, this is the first time am using the PC adapter.

am using step7 v5.5, and the cabel i purchased is
6es7 972-0cb20-0xa0

The cable is not connected according to the first image. You should set the "Connected to" field to "USB".
