Strange Step 7 behaviour... anyone explain this one?

Have a look at Network 49.

If I put in the DB address then all is well:







But if I leave out the DB address as I have done in networks after it and before it then I get an error ???




Anyone any ideas why this would be?

I wondered if maybe the DB register is being cleared by the JMPN instruction perhaps ??

Or is it a bug....

???

PS. All the lines are getting called and executed.

You call FB111. I think this is the problem.

But I'm calling FB111 on both examples. Even when the DB is addressed fully. I can't see how that affects it?

I'd run it in STL and check the DB number.

Kalle, you were right to check the DB register.

The DB register is being written with the DB111 instance DB that is used when I call FB 111.

So... Rafal, you were perfectly correct!
