Hi all,

I have 1756-EN2T version 4.3.
As per hardware switch setting and user manual we can set I/P address as 192.168.1.xyz.

I have tried to change I/P address(192.168.0.xyz) from module configuration face plate but it still gives me 192.168.1.xyz.

Is it possible to change I/P address to 192.168.0.xyz ?

No.

The switches can only be used to set the address to 192.168.1.xyz.

To set the address as you have mentioned, set the switches to a value above 254, but not 888. This allows you to change the IP address to any desired address using RSLinx. But you must have an established connection to that chassis using another communications path. You could also use a DHCP or BootP server.

OG

EDIT: If the switches are set from 001-254 they will override the "faceplate" setting.
