Omron CP1E - OPC

Hello,

Does anyone has some experience with an opc server to an OMRON CP1E plc?

This plc has a USB programming port and a serial port to connect fe. an HMI panel.

I found this article

which stated that this should work with a serial connection. But i have to point a COM port. I don't know how to point a COM port for a USB device.

To use the serial port, i don't know where to find any drivers.

I just want to use a demo version since it is for testing. I don't find a demo version of the OmronSoftware.

With the matrikon, i don't find any drivers for the CP1 plc.
It has a usb port and a rs232 port.
the rs232 port is used for HMI, but i can temporarly change this setting
Can you please explain me how you did it?

Someone have done the Matrikon OPC Server connection with OMRON CP1E by USB?
I am trying to do this for a long time, but I not found the solution.

You may want to consider Kepware's KepserverEX. You can download a run time restricted version through our web site...

Also in this download section you can view the manuals for the drivers you will require.

There is no charge for the download, but keep in mind it times out after two hours of operation. Upon timeout, you can restart the server.
