Hello all! For the past few years I've used GE Fanuc. Now I've tumbled back into the AB world. Am I to understand that 2 programs are to be running to check on plc 5 ops. And do I have to change the drivers every time I go from machine to machine.... lost over here.... help

not sure i understand your question.

two programs are required for AB.
Rslinx and the ab software itself.

Depending on how your machinery / lines is set up, you might have to change the comms settings on each machine.
in that case, do not run rslinx automatically. use rslinx control panel to start rslinx. that way, you can change the comms settings much easier.

Just a guess.

I meant to say that you would have to change the communications configuration on the pc for each machine.
Not the machine communitaction.
