Problems opening a Siemens project

Hello everybody.

I used a western drive portable disc to backup my laptop files.
I used the software that followed the disc. The western drive software.
I password protected my disc with a password.

Then the IT department formatted my laptop because it started to get slow.

After I wanted to open my Simatic files through Simatic Manager.
It would not work.
I got the following Simatic message:

Open Project (256:145)
The project or library was changed using tools in the Windows Explorer.
The data for access protection has been modified to such an extent that it is no longer possible to open the project or library.

I have tried everything as far as user rights and security.

Is anybody familiar with this message, and know the fix in order to open the project??
