Modicon Concept Documenting a Project

Can anyone give me some quick tips on the best way to go about documenting a project in Concept?
I've got a situation where the customer has lost the source code and I need to regenerate comments/tag names from an old printout.

Is there a way to edit address names/descriptions directly from the 984 LL editor? I've tried a right click/double-click but don't get anything.

I have experience with Logix and did some work with ProWorx NXT. So far the Concept does not seem nearly as friendly as either of those (and the built-in help is notoriously useless). I'm hoping someone can give me a few tips to help minimize the pain (I imagine there is no way to eliminate it).

I saw a post about an Excel editor for address name/descriptions in Concept...any ideas on how that works?

Figured out export function

Looks like export to Excel is pretty straight forward. File\Export and select the variable declarations option...

Yip best way is to export to excel. You still gonna have to insert comments on sections manually

Concept comments on registers without having variables declared

Thanks for the info. I was wondering if you could tell me if there is a way to add comments to registers in Concept without assigning the registers to variables. I want it so the comments show up in the ladder view, but I don't want to have to go through and replace all the register references with variable references to make that happen.

Sorry Greg i dont actually ever use cooncept. But I know its possible in unity (unlocated variables). If you have unlocated variables in concept then is is possible
