Is it bad pratice to use one output from a PLC to control 2 lights..

Should I use a relay? Or can I put both lights in parallel direclty on the output of my 140DAO840-00

As long as you don't exceed the current rating of the output module you can put as many
lights as you want.

See pdf below for info on your output card.
