I currently am commissioning a Peer Link system that was purchased along with the complete plant, and re-located in China. It is a two network system that uses a Data Aquisition PLC as the Active Station for BOTH networks. It is a redundant system with an A and B channel.
I started putting Network 2 on line first as it is the front of the system .... this came up great .... When I started putting Network 1 on line .... It would fault out and go through a continuous search of the startup test mode .... I removed the Channel A ... and Channel B became operational... I went through all the normal checks to see if cables correct, etc .... I have since put all 16 stations on line and EVERYONE of them reacts the same way. with ANY of the A channels put on line ALONE ... it faults out the system ... doesn't matter which one
I've about exhausted my peer link knowledge .... What Have I Missed? Any input or ideas are welcome .... thank you in advance ..
