PID Accumulator

Hi,

Is it possible to take the accumulator from an Enhanced PID (PIDE) in RSLogix 5000 and copy it to another PID or PIDE?

The accumulator is just the output value. .SO if you want it before the control limits are applied.

Thank you for your response, but I disagree.

There is no .SO in PIDE and the accumulator is the integral or memory of the loop, not the output.

If by "accumulator" you mean it's integral sum then I don't believe that value is available
to read or write to.

Maybe if you explain to the PID gurus why you want to do that, they could offer some solutions.

Oh, right, PIDE... sorry, and I know what the integral accumulator is, but no, there is none accessible.
