How to use S7-1200 PID compact correct?

I am totally new to this 1200 plc system, some one have simpel

exampel how this block pid compact work. The sensor is a

analog sensor that detect water level in first tank and the

task is use pid to control water level so its stay fix no

matter how much water usage its is, it like a water tower

or call level regulator.

Hi

Hello,

First:
Set “3” to the variable “sRet.i_Mode” of the respective instance DB.
Make sure the Stat returns a value 3.

When this is okay...
Then try to Fill in a P and a I value. Don't forget the I value, else it won't work, The PID does not run with a Integral Time value of zero.

That's all, now you can choose for the manual parameters if you want.
