Aic+

I need to get online to a SLC5/04 with an AIC+ attached to connect to a panelview 1000. I have tried to install the AIC/PIC driver but it will not start. I think it is my PC DEL XPS windows 7 Ultimat 64bit. But I am runing vmware xp service pack 3, USB 2 Serial adapter thet works fine normaly. I also tried a XP pro pc with an express to serial adapter with no joy.

Can I do anything, I dont belive I am the only one on the world with this problem.

First please post the complete catalog number of your Panelview. This will tell us what protocol the Panel view supports. We can then help you get connected.

The 1747-PIC/AIC+ Driver will only work with a real serial port on your PC.

This will never work with a PIC.... you will need to use a 1747-UIC, the UIC I make will also not work you will need a Allen Bradley UIC if you are using a AIC

We used an old laptop with dh+ pcmcia adaptor and pass through all worked fine.
