Hi guys

I setup the input assemble parameter as 100, to monitor the motor current in DeviceNet, and then send the current to N9 of SLC500(5/04)using instruction MOV, but the value of current was too bigger (around 300 Amps, shoud be 3 AMPs). Do I need to scale the value?

Thanks

Yes, you need to scale the value, usually just by dividing by 100.

The E3+ reports Current as an Integer value in units of 1/100 or 1/10 of an ampere, so "300" = 3.00 amperes.

Different size E3+ overloads report in different units; the most common small and medium size use 1/100, and the big ones use 1/10. There's a table in the user manual about this.
