CP340, communication stalls => PLC RESET ???

Hi,

I have 5 CP340 cards with balances connected on RS232 protocol.
Speed 2400 bps.

After a day, the RXD led still blinks, but no data is coming in.

Cure: Placing the CPU in stop and Run again ????

1. Can I reset the card via the software ?
2. Has it something to do with the buffer (prevent overwriting) ?

Are there no entries in the diagnostics buffer on the CP340 ?
(not the diagnostics buffer of the CPU).
