SLC 505 L551 OS501 FRN11. CIP (ethernet) MSG-READ from 3 seperate Micrologics 1100 B .IP's are correct (the PV 1500 reads the F8:0 address from the micrologis with proper values), but the MSG instructions within the slc 500 timesout (error 37) . Did I mis-configure the Channel 1 settings of the micrologis?
target CPU = slc500 (is this correct for a MSG read to a micrologic 1100 B)
controlblock = N7:50
length = 51

Without seeing your code, it's tough to say why it timed out. If it read once, it should read everytime. How are you triggering the MSG? If this MSG the only one in your program?

When the target device is a MicroLogix 1100/1400 controller, make sure you are using the "Multi-Hop" option.

You might only have to enter the target address, or you might have to add another hop to "ControlLogix Slot 0".

Double-check the target IP address. RSLogix 500 enforces an old rule about leading zeroes designating octal addresses, so "192.168.1.10" and "192.168.1.010" are not the same.
