communication hangs up in ABB PLC

Hi
I hope someone can help me here. We have serial communication between siemens S7 400 and ABB AC450 using MVI card CI532v03. At times the communication hangs up. It is reset by ABB PLC using MDB MVI 1 and it gets OK. We are not able to know why it is creating this problem.It happens very rarely.
