1747-UIC and c13 cable for SLC500(Fixed)

I would like to communicate to a Fixed i/0 SLC-500 using the 1747-UIC.
Is it AB 1747-c13 cable is the only correct choice ? ( i.e RJ45 connection on both side). Will the normal computer network cable with
RJ45 will work ?

The other port on 1747-UIC is the 9 pin RS232 .Is it also possible to
use this port for connecting to the Fixed I/O slc-500 and using the same DF1_RS232 driver .Request reply help.

Both ports on the UIC are DH485. You will not be able to connect via DF1 with this device.
