Hi Guys,
I recently got put into a project where I was to use WinCC as a HMI to integrate with Allen Bradley PLC. I currently have a 30day trial version of WinCC flexible. I was previously under the impression that WinCC flexible projects can be manipulated into WinCC v.7 Sp2. I got told it could not be done which means that I have to start from scratch. I wanted your opinion on the the matter.
Also if it is not possible can I create a tag list in WinCCFlex and export into a spreadsheet and then import into WinCC to save a little time.(WinCC is to be delivered to us in a few weeks i think).
Also on a side note. I am new to the controls industry and just got into it from rail communications. i previously worked on it in my uni days. So please forgive my ignorance. is there any tutorial package on WinCC I could access for anything from faceplates to VB scripting using activeX controls and automatic object creation?
Thanks guys
