Mitsubishi to SLC 500 comms

Has anyone ever used the ETH-1000 unit from ICC to communicate between a Mitsubishi FX3U and SLC 500 5/05. this unit was recommended by Mitsubishi. Just looking for an opinion from someone who has used it.
