pv550 removal

Hi
I have to modify an installation
SLC 5/03 connecting to 2 PV550 VIA 1761 NET UIC
One PV is connected by a Null Modem cable and 1 via DH485
The DH485 connected PV is the one being removed

When I remove the PV 550 , what changes in the RS LOGIX 500
software will I have to make so that the SLC does not look for the removed Panelview

Your SLC5/03 does not look for a panelview. Panelviews do the polling. So you don't have to do a thing.

Were the programs in each PV the same?

Ok Thanks so I just have to remove the cable connection going out to the PV and all is good ?
The programs in each PV are showing 2 different sequences of a SLC
program.I have removed all the relevant SLC software for the old sequence.
