Problems with MM420 Connection to PC via profi adaptor

Hello, I am haveing problems getting a connection between my PC and a MM420 via profi adaptor. Never had these issues until may computer had to be reloaded with the Starter Software.No matter what i try it will not detect any of the drives i connect to. Does anybody have any ideas? I have already checked some of the settings in the drives and i see no issues as of yet.
