Dear All,
Please see the attached screenshots.
Its a project available on Siemens website to show how to set time & how to display remaining time in WinCC Flex.
I'm interested in the latter - to display remaining time on the HMI screen.
I would appreciate if someone could answer the following questions:
* In the LAD the on-delay timer has DB10.DBW6 on its "BI" and DB10.DBW8 on its "BCD" terminals respectively.
(both of these data types have been declared as "WORD" in DB10).
May I know why in Wincc flex tags, DB10.DBW8 has been mentioned twice - once as type "Word" and second time as "Timer"??
* In WinCC screen properties section, the format has been declared as "Decimal" for DB10.DBW8 (which contradicts the above statements).
* In short, I understand , to display the remaining time on the HMI, tag DB10.DBW8 is being used.
Then, what is DB10.DBW6 doing in the WinCC Flex?
Can we not use DB10.DBW6 to display the remaining time?
Regards
