Siemens ET200S terminal

Hi guys,

Any of you guys know if using ET200S, do I still need to put terminal block (Wago/Pheonix Contact)? Can I wire the field signal cable (<1.5mm sq) directly into the ET200S IO modules?

The whole idea of ET200S and similar types is to do away with the intermediary terminal block if possible.For very thin sensor wires you must use ferrules.
