Of AB micrologix

Hi.

I have programming for 4 years (more or less). I have been familiar with japanese brands like Mitsubushi, keyence, omron & fuji since I am currently working on a japanese firm with majority of our clients being japanese also.

Today, we have an american client inquiring about a certain project which they require we use Allen bradley. I have never used AB before. I understand that majority of the user in this forum is familiar with AB, in line with it, I would like to seek advise as to what resources I need to get to learn AB the fastest way possible.

MicroLogix 1400 uses RSLogix 500 to program it,
and the ML1400 requires a Paid version of the software

A free version of RSLogixs 500 is available that can program ML1000 and ML 1100

Another piece of software thats needed is RSLinx Lite which is a free version which is enough for your planned project
