AB MLX 1400 PLC communication with LABVIEW

I want to know the pin configuration to communicate AB MLX1400 with labview through channel 2 (9 pin connector) in modbus RTU slave mode.


Also in if we configure AB MLX 1400 in modbus RTU master then how to read the data from LABVIEW
 
There is nothing special about the serial port ( 9-Pin channel 2) on the ML1400. Standard RS232, a null-modem cable should work just fine. See picture.

How far apart are the ML1400 and PC from each other?

SCADA/HMI systems usually do the polling, so leave the ML1400 as a slave. Note, I have not used LABVIEW.
