What takes the least amount of RSLogix 5000 programming to totalize the elements in a single variable array?

Also look in your online help at example 7 for the FAL instruction.

AVErage them, then MULtiply by the number of them

You will need to RES your CTRL_1 tag so that the calculation is performed more than once.
